Ford Motor Company "Ford" is recalling certain 2022 Transit vehicles equipped with a rearview camera. These vehicles may have a missing audio control module "ACM", resulting in no rearview camera image while in reverse gear.
A missing rearview camera image reduces the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will install the audio control module and program the unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 7, 2022. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S54.
