Summary

ON CERTAIN MOTORHOMES, AN INCORRECT 250-AMP GROUND FUSE WAS USED TO PROTECT BATTERY GROUND. THE CORRECT FUSE WAS RATED FOR 300 AMPS.

Consequence

THE INCORRECT FUSE COULD CAUSE SUDDEN LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE STALLING OR INOPERABLE LIGHTS INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE 250-AMP GROUND FUSE WITH A 350-AMP CONNECTOR. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT WESTERN RV AT 509-457-4133.
