Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. "Terex" is recalling certain 2024 Commander vehicles equipped with Meritor MX-23-810 axles. The front axle may have an incorrect thrust bearing installed.
The incorrect thrust bearings can cause the axel shaft to break and a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Terex will provide inspection instructions and replacement axles as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 17, 2025. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-203-222-7170.
