Summary:
Starcraft Bus is recalling certain model year 2009 and 2010 Prodigy and Quest school buses manufactured August 20, 2009, through March 30, 2010, and equipped with A & M Systems-brand door actuators. Voltage spikes may damage the electrical components and electrical circuits of the door actuator, causing the circuit board to develop high resistance. |

Consequence:
High resistance may cause the board to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. |

Remedy:
Starcraft Bus will notify owners and dealers will replace the affected circuit boards, free of charge. The recall began on March 20, 2014. Owners may contact Starcraft Bus at 1-800-348-7440. |
