Chrysler "FCA US, LLC" is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric "BEV" vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module "MCPA" may cause a loss of drive power.
A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will update the MCPA software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 31, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 99B.
