Oshkosh Corporation "Oshkosh" is recalling certain Shepphard Gears, with part number 3875726, sold as replacement parts for certain S-Series 2.0 vehicles. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gear to fracture.
A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace the steering gear, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 27, 2022. Owners may contact Oshkosh's customer service at 1-888-686-7278.
