Summary:
      VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRANSIT COACHES. THE STEERING ARMS ON THESE VEHICLES ARE NOT BEING PROPERLY MAINTAINED AT RECOMMENDED INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE INTERVALS.
Consequence:
      THESE STEERING ARMS COULD FAIL DUE TO POOR INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
Remedy:
      DUE TO THE AGE OF THESE VEHICLES, MCI IS NOT OBLIGATED TO OFFER REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, A SPECIAL KIT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR THE OWNERS TO USE WHICH CONSISTS OF A REPLACEMENT STEERING ARM, KEY, NUT, COTTER PIN, AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
