Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC "MBUSA" is recalling certain 2022 EQS 450 and EQS 580 vehicles. A software error may cause the overhead control panel to become permanently deactivated.
A deactivated overhead control panel will not allow an occupant to manually contact emergency personnel, delaying emergency responders and increasing the risk of injury.
Dealers will update the overhead control panel software, free of charge. All vehicles have been remedied. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.
