Jayco Inc. "Jayco" is recalling certain 2024 North Point and Pinnacle travel trailers equipped with certain GE air conditioners. The air conditioner soft start device may fail and overheat.
An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy is currently under development. As an interim measure, owners should have the ICM870-16A-BH5400 soft start removed from their air conditioner. Interim owner letters were mailed December 19, 2024. Once the final remedy is available a second notice will be mailed. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901615.
