Daimler Trucks North America, LLC "DTNA" is recalling certain 2023-2024 Freightliner 108SD, 114SD, Business Class M2, Cascadia, 2024 Western Star 57X, and 2023 Freightliner 122SD vehicles. The steer axle wheel flanges may crack and cause damage to the tires.
Damaged tires can cause a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 2, 2024. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA's number for this recall is FL999.
