Ford Motor Company "Ford" is recalling certain 2023-2024 Maverick, Ford Bronco Sport, and Mustang Mach-E vehicles. The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail.
Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce visibility in certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.
Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper motor as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed September 27, 2024. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S51.
