Summary:
Daimler Vans USA, LLC "DVUSA" is recalling certain 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter "Platform 907" vehicles equipped with high-beam assist. A software error in the control unit may prevent the driver from being able to switch off the high beams when intended. |

Consequence:
Being unable to turn off the high beams may result in oncoming traffic being blinded by the vehicle's lights, increasing the risk of crash. |

Remedy:
DVUSA will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz or Freightliner Sprinter dealers will update the control unit software, free of charge. The recall began June 14, 2019. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS3FERNLI. |
