BMW of North America, LLC "BMW" is recalling certain 2024 BMW 430i convertible vehicles. The cylinder head cover may develop cracks, resulting in oil leaking into engine compartment.
An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as a hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
Dealers will inspect and replace the cylinder head cover as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 14, 2024. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
