Auto Recall RSS Feeds

Justia delivers free, personalized updates of new recalls for your car based on your subscription to one of our RSS feeds. To subscribe to an RSS feed, browse to the page that lists the recalls you want to subscribe to and click on the orange RSS feed button RSS feed button to add it to your news reader, or you can click on the links to one of the services that use RSS feeds like MyYahoo! or MyMSN. (RSS is explained more below.)

For example, to subscribe to a feed for 1999 Ford Explorer recalls, you would click on the Ford link on the home page, then the Explorer link on the Ford page. Once on the Explorer page, click on the 1999 link and you will see the recalls for the 1999 Ford Explorer. On this page you would click on the orange RSS feed button and add it to your news reader.

If there have not been any recalls for your car's make-model-year, but there have been some recalls for your car's make-model, then you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed that has all the recalls for that make-model. If a recall does occur for your car's make-model, you will see it in this feed, even if there have not been any for your car's year yet.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication)

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for news content distribution. It is simple, fast, and light on your bandwidth. It does NOT require you to even visit our the Auto Recalls website unless you are interested in a particular recall headline and its summary. It empowers you to read and find the news you want.

To read or subscribe to RSS feeds, you need a newsreader or a Web browser that supports RSS feeds.
